Legal work in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is one of the easier ways into the European Union: contracts are official, the process is comparatively short, and employers there are used to hiring from Uzbekistan. GetWork recruits for manufacturing and transport roles.

Pay

Pay runs from €723 to €1,800 a month. Some of the roles:

• bus driver — €1,200–1,300
• printing-press operator — €1,020–1,354
• specialist electrician — €935–1,200
• general worker — €800–900

Every contract is official and long-term.

What is required

Relevant experience or a trade certificate, a passport with enough validity left, and a criminal-record certificate. Once the contract is signed a type D work visa is arranged, with a residence permit on arrival. Some roles also ask for the local language.

How the process works
